Paul Adler named Philanthropist of the Year in Rockland

Family, Friends and Colleagues

I received a call from a friend & colleague, Peter Lang who informed me that I was selected by the Rockland Development Council (RDC) (which is a nonprofit association of fund-raising professionals in Rockland County comprised more than 55 registered nonprofit agencies in RC & several professionals who serve the industry are active members of RDC, a non-governmental independent organization) that I was selected as the 2011 Outstanding Philanthropist in Rockland.

Needless to say, I am privileged and humbled by this honor. Mary & I have always considered philanthropy & volunteerism as essential pillars of good citizenship. We are so fortunate to live and work in this community, so giving back is the right thing to do for our family.

If you can, please feel free to attend the 12th Annual Philanthropy Day Breakfast on Friday, November 4th @ 8:30am – Crowne Plaza in Suffern where I will receive my award.

I am thrilled beyond words with this honor, and I want to share it with you. So many of you have been there when I’ve asked over & over again to give to this organization and the other. I could not have achieved this recognition without you!
